Fascia Fixed. Flat Handrail. Sunshade

30/09/2013 •

The X1-Series Sunshade Balustrade with Flatbar Rail is an extension of the Fascia Fix Balustrade. It incorporates stanchions which extend, vertically, below the floor level to support the sunshade panel. This panel with translucent or tinted glass can be used to reduce the amount of direct light and heat entering the lower level.

This system is designed to fix to the face of the balcony structure, whether it be the concrete slab edge or lightweight framing.

This sunshade balustrade system is suitable for use on; houses, residential buildings and offices with the F41195 fascia fix stanchion; retail buildings with the F51195 fascia fix stanchion and; areas subject to overcrowding with the F61195 fascia fix stanchion.

The 50×10 handrail fully complements the X1 Series stanchions and is designed to maximise the views attainable through the balustrade whilst complying with the “interlinking handrail” requirements of AS 1288.
